The device offers both automatic random playback and manual control, with every parameter fully MIDI-mappable for expressive, hands-on performance. Whether you want to improvise with live visuals, trigger specific images at precise musical moments, or combine automation with manual actions, Obsessum gives you total flexibility as a visual-music instrument.

With automation in Ableton Live 12, you can also pre-build complete music videos directly in your session. Drop in a folder of .png images or .mp4 files, and you’re ready to create professional audiovisual content.

Need to integrate Obsessum into a larger setup? Simply route your visuals out of Ableton via Syphon, connecting to other compatible software for projection mapping, VJ performances, or multi-screen environments.

• Supported formats:

• Maximum media per folder: Up to 100 files
• File size: Optimal performance depends on your GPU. For less powerful GPUs,
•  we recommend using lighter files (below 60 MB). 
• Heavier files can be used, but limit the total number to fewer than 100 per folder.
